{"id":12184,"date":"2025-12-01T07:07:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T07:07:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sworks.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=12184"},"modified":"2025-12-02T07:35:56","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T07:35:56","slug":"a-training-course-entitled-designing-community-initiatives-for-university-youth","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/sworks.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/news\/a-training-course-entitled-designing-community-initiatives-for-university-youth\/","title":{"rendered":"A Training Course Entitled &#8220;Designing Community Initiatives for University Youth&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Louay Saad El-Din Nusrat, President of the University,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">and with the patronage and attendance of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, the Central Student Welfare Department, in cooperation with the Faculty of Social Work, organized a training course entitled \u201cDesigning Community Initiatives for University Students.\u201d The course was held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Training and Human Development Center of the Faculty of Social Work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">The training was delivered by Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Razek Amin, Professor and Head of the Community Organization Department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">The course aimed to introduce students to the concept, significance, and objectives of community initiatives, as well as the characteristics of initiative leaders, the forms and types of initiatives, and the various fields in which community initiatives operate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">The training also included a practical component in which participating students were divided into groups, with each group tasked with designing an initiative based on the established steps and components. The students presented their initiatives in an atmosphere of active interaction and positive participation, reflecting the value of the course in enhancing students\u2019 creativity and innovation skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">The Dean of the Faculty attended the training and provided the students with advice, guidance, and instructions regarding mechanisms for implementing student initiatives.
