In the presence of H.E. Prof. Louai Saad El-Din Nusrat,<\/strong> President of the University, and Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas, Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Social Work participated in a roundtable discussion on integrating the empowerment and investment in girls as an institutional pillar within policies, academic curricula, and university activities. The discussion aimed at supporting the project of enhancing and empowering girls in Aswan Governorate.<\/span><\/p>\n

The roundtable was held on Thursday, 18\/12\/2025, in cooperation with UNICEF, Sohbet El Kheir Association, Southern Free Foundation, Al-Mostaqbal Association, and the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit at Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was also attended by Prof. Abdullah Saber Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean for Environmental Development and Community Service Affairs; Prof. Nabil Abu Al-Hassan, Head of the Social Work Fields Department; Prof. Samir Abdel Rahman, Head of the Casework Department; and Prof. Asmaa Sayed Hassan, Professor of Social Planning at the Faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n

The roundtable concluded with several recommendations aimed at enhancing and empowering girls through supporting social empowerment, student activities at the university, education and learning, and community institutions, contributing to the achievement of Egypt\u2019s Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
