The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">1. Prof. Dr. Abdellah Saber Abdel Hamid \u2013 Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">2. Prof. Dr. Nabil Mohamed Mahmoud Abul-Hassan \u2013 Head of the Fields of Social Work Department.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">3. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Razek Amin \u2013 Head of the Community Organization Department.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">4. Prof. Dr. Samir Mohamed Abdel-Rahman \u2013 Head of the Casework Department.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">5. Assoc. Prof. Ihab Mohamed Ahmed \u2013 Associate Professor, Fields of Social Work Department.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">6. Dr. Ahmed Youssef Sayed \u2013 Lecturer, Community Organization Department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">The meeting addressed a range of administrative and academic matters concerning the Faculty\u2019s academic departments. Discussions included the formation of supervision committees for a number of Master\u2019s and PhD researchers, the formation of thesis defense and examination committees for other researchers, and various matters related to postgraduate researchers across the academic departments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">The Council also discussed preparations for the new academic year, with emphasis on taking all necessary measures to ensure a smooth start and welcome new students. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed affirmed the Faculty\u2019s readiness for the new academic year, highlighting the announcement of class schedules, the preparation and readiness of classrooms, and the updating of curricula in line with contemporary developments and the requirements of the labor market, thereby better equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for their future careers.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Faculty Council held its September 2026 meeting on Monday, September 14, 2026.
