Workshop In the Group Work Department at the Faculty of Social Work
Under the auspices of Prof. Mohammed Gaber Abbas, Dean of the Faculty, the Department of Group Work organized a workshop entitled “The Effective Supervisor: Strategies of Civil Supervision through Group Work Approaches.”
The workshop was delivered by Prof. Samah Salem Awad Salem, Professor and Head of the Group Work Department at the Faculty of Social Work and Director of the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems at Helwan University.
The event was held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the Training and Human Development Center on the fourth floor of the faculty building.
The workshop was attended by faculty members and teaching assistants, and addressed methods of dealing with group work members as well as the professional regulations governing supervision of civil training groups.
At the conclusion of the workshop, sincere thanks and appreciation were extended to Prof. Samah Salem Awad Salem for her distinguished efforts and valuable contribution to the department’s workshop, which enriched participants’ knowledge and enhanced their skills. Wishing her continued success and further contributions in serving science and knowledge.
