A Seminar Entitled ”Young Leaders for A better Future”
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, the Community Organization Department, in cooperation with third-batch field-training students, organized a seminar at the Primary Republic School.
The event was supervised by Dr. Maryam Abdelrahman Sadiq, Teaching Assistant in the Community Organization Department, and held under the title “Young Leaders for a Better Future.”
Dr. Hala Abdel-Azim Madania, Assistant Professor of Community Organization, delivered the main lecture.
The seminar aimed to introduce students to the concept of leadership and to highlight ways of developing leadership traits through social activities and collaborative work.
It also presented examples and role models of distinguished community leaders, inspiring and motivating students to adopt positive leadership qualities.
Additionally, the seminar included a series of interactive activities with the school’s trainee students to help identify the characteristics of an effective leader and explore methods for strengthening leadership skills among young learners.
The event was marked by an atmosphere of active engagement between the trainees and the attending students, reflecting the social worker’s skill in creating a supportive environment that fosters positive leadership qualities and instills such values in students from an early age.
The seminar concluded with honoring outstanding students and exemplary teachers from the school, in the presence of the school principal, the social worker, and the field-training students.
