A workshop entitled “Effective Communication Skills Between Teacher and Student: An Educational and Social Perspective”
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty.
And with the generous hosting of Prof. Khairy Ahmed Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Education.
A workshop was held on Monday, December 1, 2025, in collaboration between the Community Organization Department and the Field Training Unit, represented by fourth-year field training students, at the Student Welfare Office of the Faculty of Education.
The workshop was supervised by Dr. Aya Lotfy Abdel-Razek, Assistant Lecturer in the Community Organization Department. It witnessed a distinguished attendance from students of the Faculty of Education and the Student Union, and was organized and managed with excellence by the fourth-year field training students.
The workshop was managed by:
– Prof. Saeed Mohamed Seddik, Professor of Curriculum and Instruction and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development.
– Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Razek Amin, Professor and Head of the Community Organization Department.
Also in the attendance of Ms. Abeer Mohamed, Director of the Student Welfare Office at the Faculty of Education, and Ms. Rabab.
The workshop aimed to develop students’ effective communication skills, define the parameters of the teacher-student relationship and its foundations, and explore strategies for fostering a positive student-teacher relationship that enhances appropriate academic achievement.
This workshop is part of a series of community activities organized by the department in collaboration with the Field Training Unit and governmental and non-governmental community institutions. These activities reflect the distinguished and positive role of social workers in community development and achieving appropriate human development.
