The Faculty of Social Work Participated in the University’s Environmental Day
Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nusrat, President of the University, and Prof. Ashraf Emam Abdel-Rady, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Social Work participated in the Environmental Day organized by the University’s Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in cooperation with the Umm Habiba Foundation. The event took place at the University’s Sahari Campus and included afforestation and tree-planting activities.
The Faculty was represented by Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Abdallah Saber Abdel-Hamid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with several faculty members.
The Faculty’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to community engagement and its active involvement in university and environmental initiatives.
His Excellency the Dean praised the efforts of the University leadership in promoting cooperation with various organizations and institutions to support social and environmental development. He also emphasized the University’s aspiration to organize further activities and events that benefit all sectors of the University and the wider community.
