Aswan University Preparations to the first African Universities Youth Week
Aswan University today organized a preparatory meeting for students of the members of the Public Relations and Protocol Committee in preparation for the organization of the first African Universities Youth Week, which will be held from 19 to 25 October, as directed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghallab, President of Aswan University.
Prof. Dr. Magdy Mohamed Ali, Chairman of the Public Relations and Protocol Committee, stated that the meeting included the selection of male and female students participating in this event, who were selected from different faculties of the university in general and from faculties (Al-Alsun – Literature – Archeology) in particular, in order to accompany. Delegations of African and Egyptian universities participating throughout their stay in Aswan.
He pointed out that the selected students are required to be proficient in language so that they can deal with African delegations easily and smoothly as well as good-looking and courteous as ambassadors of the University of Aswan in front of other universities.
He pointed out that the organization of the African Universities Week comes in line with the recent selection of Aswan as the best university in the world in the citations according to the British Thames classification, which confirms that Aswan is a leading and promising university.
Prof. Dr. Ezzat Abdel Rahman, Deputy General Coordinator of the African Universities Week, added that this week is not only a special event for Aswan University, but it is a major international event for all Egypt. There are 21 African universities in addition to more than 20 other Egyptian universities.
