It is a specialized semi-annual monthly published by the Faculty of Social Work at Aswan University in the Arab Republic of Egypt’s south. It began in 2017, lasted four years, and was then re-launched in 2022.

It publishes specialized studies and research on social work and its many methodologies, as well as working papers for academics and researchers in universities, scientific institutes, research centers or their equivalent in Egypt and the Arab countries, as well as working on publishing abstracts of theses for master’s and doctoral degrees for faculties of social work, and the presentations of international books specialized in social work; research submitted to the journal is subject to confidential arbitration by following the regulations governing publication in the journal.
