”Achieve Your Dream” Awareness Seminar

Under the patronage of H.E. Prof.Louai Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Ashraf Emam, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at the Faculty of Social Work organized an awareness seminar in cooperation with Students for Egypt group entitled: (Achieve Your Dream) within the framework of implementing the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Building the Human”  to discuss the axis of human development, on Tuesday corresponding 18/2/2025 at the Human Development Hall at the Faculty of Social Work. 

The seminar was attended by:

Assist Prof. Al-Tahami Al-Bakri, Assistant Professor of Community Organization at the Faculty of Social Work and Family Coordinator at the Faculty, in educating students about the importance of this symposium in building the student’s personality.

Ms. Rand Diaa, Director of the Hakawy Training Center in Aswan, spoke about her experiences at the center and a course on coping with social difficulties, and  developing artistic and cultural talents, abilities, and social skills.

Ms. Walaa Saad Arafa, Supervisor of Preventive Programs at the Drug Control and Treatment Fund in Aswan Governorate, spoke on the value of optimism and ambition in an individual’s personality, as well as the relevance of involvement and volunteering in drug prevention efforts. She provided a number of positive models relevant to the symposium’s topic.

Prof. Abdullah Saber Abdel Hamid, Deputy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at the Faculty of Social Work, presented the necessity and importance of dreams, hope, and ambition for the individual, how to achieve the dream, the mechanisms for formulating realistic dreams related to the individual’s abilities, inclinations, and desires, and how to achieve this within the framework of trust in God Almighty, in oneself, and good reliance on God Almighty.

Certificates of gratitude were presented to the symposium organizers in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the event’s success.

The symposium organizers would like to thank everyone who attended, including the deputies, professors, heads of departments at the faculty, academic staff, assistant body members at the Faculty of Social Work, the Students for Egypt family, students at the Faculty of Social Work, and the work team at the Information and Youth Care Unit.
