The department aimed to prepare graduates with a high level of skills and the ability to follow scientific and technological developments in their field of specialization through the continuous development of the educational process, as well as to contribute to the community’s problem-solving through scientific research conducted by researchers in their specialization department.

The department’s mission is to contribute to the development of a distinguished social worker capable of competing at the local and Arab levels in working with individuals and families with knowledge and skills up to local and Arab quality standards, contribute to the upgrading of graduates’ levels through continuing education and training and postgraduate programs, and contribute to the development of professional practice and community service through the provision of technical, professional, and scientific advice.

1. Preparation of distinguished cadres of academic staff who are able to take on the responsibility of developing the mission of the department and contributing to reaching graduates’ levels to international levels.

2. Contribute to the development of professional practice by serving the individual in selected fields, providing students with excellent opportunities for training in these fields.

3. Developing the scientific content of the courses taught by the department so as to take into account the latest developments in the specialization on the one hand and in line with the values and privacy of Egyptian society on the other.

4: Providing the members of the department with the opportunity to acquire the skills of field practice by working with individual cases, both in the social treatment units and in specialized institutions.

5: Developing the teaching method during:
