Today, Wednesday, 10/5/2023 , a symposium was held entitled “Climate Changes within the System of Social Work, Proficient Visions and Suggestions”, at 10:00 am within the Human Advancement Lobby at the Faculty of Social Work, Aswan University

Within the preparing teach agreeing to the logical disciplines of the strategies and areas of social benefit, which included ‘‘We Are All One Hand”  association for casework department students ,” Badr Youth Center” association for group work department students , ”Free Southern” association for community organization students , ”Aroman” association for social planning department students, ” Elderly Care” association for social fields department students ,in addition to preparing and displaying their preparing exercises and the logical recognitions of the social work calling in working with climate changes agreeing to these strategies and areas to stand up to climate changes from the viewpoint of social work.

 The symposium included talks from the visitors and imperative logical questions and mediations within the setting of the issue of climate alter through His Excellency Prof. Loay Saad El Din Nusrat – Vice-University President for Education and Student Affairs and Supervisor of the Faculty, His Excellency Prof.  Muhammad Jaber Abbas – Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affiars, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah Saber Abdel Hamid – Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

A symposium was held to create the academic abilities of faculty students  and to create the abilities of planning for exams and managing with the address paper. The symposium was entitled “Preparation for exams and abilities for managing with the address paper,” which day, Sunday, 5/14/2023 , at 10:am ,at the Human Advancement Corridor, Faculty of Social Work, Aswan University, and the symposium discussed  following after topics:

The first axis: abilities for remembrance, which were spoken to: the inspiration for recognition, self-preparation for remembrance, arrangement of the put for recognitionthe finest strategies for recognition, the essential standards for recognitionissues of understanding and issues of memorization.

The second axis: the fundamental standards for recognition, which are at the same time rules that encourage the themes of subjects that are aiming to be retained or memorized.

The third axis: few strategies utilized by academic staff in inquiring questions

The fourth axis: the expressions of managing with the test paper.

The symposium was led by Dr. Abdullah Saber Abdel Hamid, Professor of Casework Department and Vice -Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development

Today, Sunday, Prof.  Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, witnessed the launch of the activities of the National Initiative for Green Smart Projects, Phase II, under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, in the presence of Dr. Ghada Abu Zeid, on behalf of Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, Prof.Louay Saad El-Din Nasrat, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Arabi, Vice President of the University for Postraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Mamdouh El-Sayed, Director General of the Regional Branch of the Environmental Affairs Agency for Southern Upper Egypt in Aswan, Dr. Hoda Mustafa, Director of the National Council for Women Branch in Aswan, Dr. Ali Dandrawi, former Vice President of the University, the Vice Deans of the Faculty of Social Work, Dr. Nabila Lotfy, Rapporteur of the symposium, a group of researchers, academic staff and their assistants, and students of the Faculty of Social Work, Aswan University.

Dr. Ayman Othman, President of the University, welcomed the attendees to Aswan University, emphasising in his speech the importance of implementing the national strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research by creating real and effective partnership of partnerships, factories, and productive institutions in the governorate, in order to activate the national initiative for smart green projects and work on economic development, by providing criteria for the performance of development projects and the accomplishments of the smart green projects initiative, which has become one of the aims and outcomes of the COP27 Climate Conference.

 

The President of Aswan University stated that the Environmental Affairs Agency has been given more powers to deal with environmental pollution issues from waste and debris, as well as to work on discussing new legislation to adapt to climate issues and developments, with seriousness in dealing with the environmental dimension and climate change within the framework of achieving sustainable development goals and digital transformation by presenting projects that achieve The program also contributes to the development of a governorate-level map for green and smart projects, linking them to financing organizations and attracting the necessary investments from inside and without, as well as investing the minds of Aswan University scholars.

Dr. Ghada Abu Zeid, Deputy Governor of Aswan, added during her speech, in which she conveyed Major General Ashraf Attia’s greetings to the attendees, that approximately 188 projects were submitted within the National Initiative for Green Smart Projects in the first phase, and the committee assigned to evaluate the projects filtered them to 50 projects, during which 18 projects won, distributed across six different sectors, which chose three winning projects in the first phase.

Among the most important gains of the initiative are translating the goals of sustainable development, and working on preparing a database for green smart projects at the governorate level, to build the capacities of scientific and research cadres, in addition to the smart partnership between local, national, and international entities, and empowering many sectors in the initiative, such as the women and youth sectors, the private sector, and civil society.

Dr. Mamdouh El-Sayed, Director of the Environmental Affairs Agency Branch for Upper Egypt in Aswan, explained that we are working to raise awareness of climate change and provide an opportunity for university youth to participate on the platform by presenting awareness and education topics, competitions, requirements for preparing development projects, policy papers, and arbitration criteria on the topics of introductory and educational meetings for students, with the aim of introducing the strategies of the Egyptian state within the framework of education, awareness, and training as one of the important topics on which the national strategy works, while providing support to winning projects to highlight the ideas and initiatives of youth. Dr. Hoda Mustafa, Director of the National Council for Women Branch in Aswan, also discussed the role of Aswan women and their participation in the initiative, while presenting models of successful women in achieving economic returns for themselves and their families, while spreading awareness and education among them in the various centers, cities, and villages of the governorate.

In the conclusion of the seminar, the winning shows  in the first phaseare submitted by Eng. Mohamed Abdullah-Executive Manager of Misr Company for Papers (Adfu), the project of paper making, Dr. Ahmed Zaki-Head of Qualtative Union for Environment, project of sugarcanes seeddings crops, Eng.Amany Bader-Vice Dean of the Ministry of Agrichulture at Aswan.
