A seminar entitled (Good role models and ways to emulate them)
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty.
On Monday, November 2, 2025, a seminar entitled “Good Role Models and Ways to Emulate Them” was held in collaboration between the Community Organization Department and fourth-year field training students at the Teachers’ Training College Annex School in Al-Hasaya.
The seminar was supervised by Dr. Aya Lotfy Abdel-Razek, Assistant Lecturer in the Community Organization Department. The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Razek Amin Hamid, Professor and Head of the Community Organization Department at the College.
The seminar aims to teach students about the concept of good role models, how to distinguish between good and bad role models, and the significance of role models in life and how to emulate them in various parts of life.
The seminar explored inspiring examples from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the greatest example to be followed in all aspects of life.
The seminar also included a series of activities with the participation of the school’s students to identify the characteristics of good role models in society. The seminar also showcased exemplary figures from the religious, scientific, political, historical, and athletic spheres, representing Egyptian and international figures with a positive impact on society. The atmosphere was characterized by positive interaction, reflecting the professional role of the social worker who strives to cultivate students’ awareness of positive role models and contribute to reducing negative behaviors in society by emulating exemplary achievements and positive conduct.
The seminar concluded with the honoring of outstanding students and exemplary teachers from the school, in the presence of the school principal, the vice principal, social worker Ms. Fatima, and student teachers participating in the field training program. The school principal commended the student teachers for their role in organizing numerous activities and events that contributed to mitigating and eliminating some negative phenomena within the school.
