A Seminar Entitled “Proper Educational Treatment of People with Special Needs”
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, Fourth-year field training students at the Intellectual Education School, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Warda Senousi from the Group Work Department, organized a seminar entitled:
“Appropriate Educational Approaches for Dealing with People with Special Needs.”
The seminar was delivered by Prof.Hanaa Aref Ahmed, Professor and Head of the Group Work Department. The school administration was represented by Ms. Buthaina Sayed, School Principal, and Mr. Abdel Hamid Mohamed, Social Worker.
The seminar aimed to raise parents’ awareness of positive ways to interact with their children and support them in accepting their disabilities. It successfully provided families with effective strategies for dealing with their children and included active participation and group discussions among attendees.
