A seminar entitled “Raising student awareness to protect Egypt from destructive ideology and to improve minds from extremism”

On Sunday, November 23, 2025, a seminar was held at Al-Manar Primary School for Languages, in collaboration between the Community Organization Department and fourth-year field training students.
The seminar, titled “Raising Student Awareness to Protect Egypt from Destructive Ideology and Protect Minds from Extremism,” was supervised by Dr. Aya Lotfy Abdel-Razek, Assistant Lecturer in the Community Organization Department. The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. El-Tohamy El-Bakry Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Community Organization.
The seminar aimed to equip students with a correct understanding of national identity and how to confront extremist and destructive ideologies in society, thus preserving the cohesion and unity of Egyptian society.
The seminar also served as a practical demonstration of the role of social workers in developing students’ awareness, preventing their involvement with extremist ideologies, and protecting children and youth from falling prey to destructive ideas. And how to raise children in a social manner based on awareness and positive thinking, in a way that helps in building society and preserving the Egyptian entity and national identity.
