Under the patronage of Prof. Loay Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University, Prof. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Radi, Vice- President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas, Dean of the Faculty, the Department of Social Work Fields, headed by Prof. Nabil Mohamed Abu El-Hassan, organized a seminar entitled “The Role of Green Fiscal Policy in Addressing Climate Change.”

This seminar was held in cooperation with the Institute of African Research and Nile Basin Studies, led by Prof. Abdel-Moneim Sultan Gilani, Dean of the Institute. The seminar was presented by Prof. Karima Mohamed El-Soghayar, Professor in the Department of Politics and Economics at the Institute of African Research and Nile Basin Studies, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Faculty Council Hall at the Faculty of Social Work.

The seminar covered several topics related to green fiscal policy, climate change, and mechanisms for addressing it. The attendees actively participated in the seminar, engaging in constructive and insightful discussions that enriched the event.
