A training course entitled “Using Statistical Methods in Social Work Research and Studies”
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Social Work, the Department of Social Work Fields organized a training course entitled “Using Statistical Methods in Social Work Research and Studies.”
The training was delivered by Prof. Dr. Nabil Mohamed Abulhassan, Professor and Head of the Department of Social Work Fields. The course was held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Training and Human Development Center on the fourth floor of the Faculty.
A group of faculty members, teaching assistants, and postgraduate researchers attended the training.
The program covered a range of essential topics, including:
-Basic statistical concepts
-Types of research studies and the statistical methods appropriate for each criteria for selecting the proper statistical method.
-Practical examples and applications for analyzing and interpreting statistical results.
