Workshop entitled “Environmental Planning and its Role in Addressing Global and Local Climate Changes”
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, The Department of Social Planning held a workshop today, Wednesday, April 8, 2026, entitled “Environmental Planning and its Role in Addressing Global and Local Climate Change.” The workshop witnessed a distinguished attendance of graduate and undergraduate students from the faculty.
The workshop was led by Prof.Hamada Ragab Muslim, Professor and Head of the Department of Social Planning.
Dr. Walid Mohamed Awni, Lecturer of Social Planning, and in attendance were Professor Dr. Wael Abdel Aziz Youssef, Assistant Professor of Social Planning, and Dr. Abeer Abdullah Mohamed Abu Zeid, Lecturer of Social Planning.
Several teaching assistants also attended:
1. Nourhan Khaled, Teaching Assistant in the Department of Social Planning.
2. Omaima Farag, Teaching Assistant in the Department of Social Planning.
The workshop included numerous scholarly discussions among the students.
The workshop was coordinated by Ms. Nourhan Khaled and Ms. Omaima Farag.
