Celebration of the Community Organization Department
Under the patronage of Prof. Louay Sa’d Al-Din Nassrat, the University President and Faculty Supervisor.
H.E. Prof. Ashraf Emam, Vice-University President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, H.E. Prof. Mohammed Gaber Abbas, Professor of Community Organization and Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Abdul Razik Amen, Head of Community Organization Department, were all in attendance.
In the presence of the community organization department’s academic staff and their assistants, as well as some of the faculty’s academic staff, the community organization department organizes a closing celebration for a social project about field study, which is being carried out in collaboration with the community organization department and the ”Al-Karam Association” for Community Development in Nasiriyah.
The celebration was held on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Aswan University’s Faculty of Social Work. The celebration comes in light of celebrating with the ”Global Day of Volunteer” and continuing to the activities of the presidential initiative” Bedaya-A New Beginning For Human Building”, the ceremony includes several performances, displaying some of the documentation videos about stages of carrying out civil studies, in addition to some of the activities of the community organization department.
Finally, the field study team, led by Dr. Abdel Hamid Mohamed Mahmoud Bakri, Community Organization Lecturer, and comprised of teaching assistants, assistant lecturers, and volunteer students from the College of Social Service, were recognized for their successful implementation and completion of the field study.
