Closing Ceremony of the Week’s Environmental Activities

As part of the University’s Environmental Week, held from April 5 to 9, 2026, the closing ceremony of the week’s activities entitled “From Idea to Initiative: Youth Protecting the Earth” took place on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Second-year students of the Faculty of Social Work actively participated in the ceremony.

Assist Prof. Rasha Abdel-Tawab Abdel-Fattah – Academic Supervisor for the Second Year.
The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, followed by recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abbas, Dean of the Faculty, delivered a welcoming speech to H.E. Prof. Dr. Loay Saad El-Din Nasrat, who commended the Faculty’s outstanding activities.
He also welcomed Prof. Dr. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Radi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, who presented an overview of the University’s Environmental Week activities, supported by a documentary video.
The ceremony concluded with honoring the students who achieved the top three positions in the environmental competitions for Best Idea and Best Project, in an atmosphere filled with joy, appreciation, and pride.
