Faculty Council Meeting
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, the Faculty Council convened for its January meeting, chaired by Professor Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty. The meeting was attended by the following members:

Prof. Abdullah Saber Abdel Hamid – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development
Prof. Nabil Mohamed Mahmoud Aboulhassan – Head of the Department of Social Work Fields
Prof. Hanaa Aref Ahmed – Head of the Department of Group Service
Prof. Mohamed Abdel Razek Amin – Head of the Department of Community Organization
Prof. Samir Mohamed Abdel Rahman – Head of the Department of Casework
Prof. Asmaa Sayed Hassan – Professor of Social Planning
Assist. Prof. Ehab Mohamed Ahmed – Assistant Professor of Social Work Fields
During the meeting, a number of administrative and academic matters were discussed. The Council reviewed the progress of the educational process, examined departmental reports on community service activities, and addressed issues related to the academic departments.
The Council also approved the formation of supervision committees for several Master’s and Doctoral researchers, as well as examination committees for a number of researchers. In addition, preparations for the upcoming examinations were discussed.
The first semester was conducted in accordance with the University’s approved study plan. During the meeting, several researchers were awarded Master’s and Doctoral degrees, and the Faculty’s quality development plan was presented.
