Under the Auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty
The Faculty Council held its June meeting on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by:

Prof. Dr. Hamada Ragab Muslim – Head of the Social Planning Department

The meeting commenced with the Dean expressing his sincere appreciation to the faculty members and teaching assistants for their dedicated efforts during the second-semester undergraduate examinations. He emphasized the importance of expediting the grading process to ensure the timely completion and announcement of examination results, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency the President of Aswan University.

The Council reviewed the progress of postgraduate examinations and stressed the need for prompt grading immediately following the completion of each examination. Members also reviewed reports submitted by the academic departments on their community service activities, as well as reports concerning quality assurance standards and the progress achieved in fulfilling them.
In addition, supervisory committees were approved for a number of Master’s and Ph.D. researchers, and several Master’s and doctoral research proposals were registered. The Council also approved the formation of examination and assessment committees for a number of postgraduate researchers.

The meeting further addressed a range of administrative matters related to the Faculty’s academic and institutional affairs.
Faculty Council Holds Its June Meeting
