Faculty Council Meeting for March
On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, the Faculty Council held its meeting for the month of March.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and was attended by the following professors:
Prof. Mohamed Sayed Abbas, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof.Abdullah Saber Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof.Nabil Mohamed Mahmoud Aboulhassan, Head of the Department of Social Work Fields.
Prof. Mohamed Abdel Razek Amin, Head of the Department of Community Organization.
Prof. Samir Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Head of the Department of Casework.
Prof. Asmaa Sayed Hassan, Professor of Social Planning.
Assist. Prof. Ehab Mohamed Ahmed, Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work Fields.
Dr. Ahmed Youssef Sayed, Lecturer in the Department of Community Organization.
During the meeting, several administrative matters were discussed, along with reviewing the progress of the educational process and discussing a number of issues related to the academic departments. The Council also approved the formation of supervisory committees for a number of Master’s and PhD researchers, and scheduled thesis defense sessions for several researchers. In addition, awards were granted to a number of researchers within the academic departments.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Dean extended his congratulations to the Council members on the occasion of the approaching Eid Al-Fitr.
