Faculty of Social Work Camp
Under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Louai Saad El-Din Nusrat-Aswan University President, Prof. Ashraf Imam – Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas – Dean of the Faculty; the curriculum camp for skills carried out for students of the 2nd batch at the faculty under the slogan ”Our Principles Our Responsibility….Our Services Our Message”.
This camp comes within the framework of the faculty’s interesting to prepare qualified and conscious students professionally, where it aims to develop skills of the 2nd batch students, enhance their communication capabilities, group work, take responsibility, establish the principles of social work as they are considered humanitarian and social message. The camp includes a group of training activities which contribute in refining student’s character and building its field experience in supporting and encouraging environment.
Over two days, Wednesday and Thursday, December 10th and 11th, 2025, the camp was held on the Sahari campus. The camp included community service activities such as tree planting, cleaning, and maintenance of the Social Work College building. The camp was a collaborative effort between the Social Work Faculty, the Faculty of Agriculture, and the University’s Public Affairs Department.
In this regard, the Dean of the Faculty extends his gratitude to all partners who contributed to the success of this camp, including the entire support staff team, the faculty’s field training team, all six academic staff who participated, and all second-year students for their efforts, dedication, and commitment to achieving the camp’s objectives.
The camp concluded with an evening celebration showcasing the students’ artistic talents. In closing, the camp embodied our values and responsibilities, reaffirming that service is our mission towards society.
