PhD Defense of Dissertation in the Casework Department
On Sunday, corresponding to Monday, November 10, 2025, the doctoral dissertation defense of the researcher, Laila Mohamed Hussein Saleh — Assistant Lecturer in the Casework Department was convened. The defense was attended by Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas, Dean of the Faculty; the vice-deans; heads of the academic departments; a group of faculty members and teaching assistants (demonstrators and assistant lecturers), particularly the researchers of the department. The defense also had the honor of the presence of the researcher’s family and friends.
The Dissertation Defense and Judgment Committee discussed the researcher’s thesis in a rigorous scientific and methodological manner within the academic framework of social work, with particular emphasis on the casework specialization. The thesis was awarded first ranking with distinction.
