Discussion of a Master’s thesis in the Department of Social Work Fields

The Master’s thesis of researcher Sariya Suleiman Moussa Hassan, a postgraduate researcher in Social Work, was successfully defended on Monday, June 8, 2026.

“A Proposed Preventive Program from the Perspective of Generalist Social Work Practice for Enhancing Youth Awareness of the Risks of Intellectual Extremism”

The defense was attended by a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, and the researcher’s family.
Following the discussion and evaluation of the thesis, the committee unanimously decided to award the researcher the Master’s Degree in Social Work with Distinction.
The committee also recommended the exchange and publication of the thesis with universities and research centers inside and outside Egypt due to its scientific value and relevance to the field of community work. The thesis received an overall grade of Excellent.
