Workshop To Train on Information Sources Available in the Egyptian Knowledge Bank
Under the auspices of Prof. Louay Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University and Supervisor of the Faculty of Social Work, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mahal Arabi, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies, the Digital Library Unit and the Central Libraries Department at Aswan University, in collaboration with the Digital Libraries Unit at the Supreme Council of Universities’ Electronic Services and Knowledge Centre, publishers and companies at 10:00 am in Seminar Hall No. 1 in the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources building on the ground floor, in the presence of an elite group of training experts at the Knowledge Bank from database supplier companies and the Supreme Council of Universities.
This comes under the umbrella of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, one of the most important presidential initiatives to support education and scientific research, and is supported by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. The Egyptian Knowledge Bank aims to unify subscriptions to periodicals and databases and make information sources available nationally through a unified electronic portal.
