In line with the efforts to empower artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and to achieve the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in preparing and qualifying Egyptian university students, as well as training them on the effective use of AI tools, Google — a leading global company — has launched a cooperation project in the field of AI under the auspices and supervision of the Ministry, and funded by Google.
Through this initiative, students of Egyptian universities will be granted free access for one year to the paid versions of Google’s AI tools, with the aim of developing their skills and enhancing their readiness for the labor market. The available applications include:
Gemini (2.5 Pro): Advanced deep search + Veo 3 for fast video creation
Flow: AI-powered filmmaking tool for cinematic storytelling
NotebookLM: Research and writing assistant
Gemini in Workspace: AI integration across Gmail, Docs, Videos, etc.
Cloud Storage: 2TB across Google Drive, Photos, and Gmail
In addition, free training sessions will be provided to students on how to use these AI tools effectively, along with granting them a career-oriented Google Diploma.
