The Annual Scientific Conference for Social Work Fields has been launched
The activities of the annual scientific conference for social work fields began on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Al Moushir Mohamed Hussein Tantawy Hall, Aswan University, Sahary. This year’s conference title is compatible with current societal realities and is based on modernity and change: “Social Security and Social Issues from the Perspective of Social Work Fields,” and it included three main topics:
-Large national projects are represented by the 1st axis.
-Changes in the environment are represented by the -2nd axis.
-Digital transformation is the 3rd axis.
The conference began with the Holy Qur’an, the national anthem, the word of Prof.Nabila Mohamed Lotfy-the conference’s founder and the head of the department, and a demonstration video about the department and its achievements, followed by the words of Prof. Mohamed Sayed Abbass-Vice-University President for Education and Student Affairs, and concluded with the words of Prof. Louay Sa’ad Al Din Nassrat-Vice University President and the Supervisor of the Faculty.
Eng. Ramy Edwar, Vice President of the Aswan City Authority, Dr. Mohamed Abbas, President of AswanEngineers Syndicate, and Eng. Ali Wasfy, Head of Operations for Aswan Solar Energy Project, concluded the day by speaking about one axis: large national projects. On behalf of Dr. Mamdouh, the authority’s head, Eng. Ahmed Abdo, Head of the Citizen Services Department and Coordinator of the Youth Unit in the branch, and Eng. El-Shazly Ahmed, Environmental Researcher at Aswan Environment Authority, discussed the second axis: environmental changes.
Dr. Tamer Abdel Latif of the Arabic Academy spoke on Prof. Ammar Mustafa’s behalf about the third axis: digital transformation.
At the conference’s conclusion, the department’s active distinguished researchers were honored:
-Ahmed Obaid – MS.researcher.
-Mohamed Saber – Ph.D. researcher
