Workshop on Developing the Research Plan of the Community Organization Department
Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, the Department of Community Organization organized a workshop entitled
“Developing the Research Plan of the Community Organization Department.”
The workshop was led by Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Attia, Assistant Professor of Community Organization,
in the presence of faculty members, teaching assistants, and postgraduate researchers (Master’s and PhD levels) of the department.
The workshop addressed modern topics and issues related to Egypt’s Vision 2030, as well as recent developments in the field of social work.
It also discussed the mechanisms for implementing the department’s research plan, the methods to achieve its vision and mission, and the ways to enhance the role of the profession within the community by developing professional practice in both governmental and civil society organizations.
