A Workshop Entitled ”From Field Training to Professional Practice”
Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Social Work in Aswan, a workshop entitled “From Field Training to Professional Practice” was held today at 10:00 AM in the Quality Hall on the second floor of the Faculty of Social Work. The workshop was presented by Prof. Hala Abdel-Azim Madani, Assistant Professor of Community Organization, and was organized in cooperation between the Community Organization Department, represented by its PhD researchers, and fourth-year field training students from the following groups:
“Youth Care Group,” “Future Association Group,” and “Teachers’ Training Center Annex Group.”
The workshop aimed to enable students to:
-Differentiate between the requirements of field training at the undergraduate level and the demands of professional practice in postgraduate studies and the labor market.
-Identify the professional and personal gaps that may hinder the transition to professional practice.
-Understand the ethical and legal standards governing advanced practice in specialized institutions.
