A Workshop Entitled the Ethical Charter for Social Work
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abbas Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty.
The Department of Social Planning held a workshop today, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, entitled “The Ethical Charter of Social Work.”
The workshop witnessed a distinguished attendance of graduate and undergraduate students from the faculty.
The workshop was led by Prof. Kawthar Ahmed Qanawi, Assistant Professor of Social Planning.
Prof. Abdel-Allah Saber, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, was also present.
Dr. Abeer Abdullah Mohamed Abu-Zeid, Lecturer of Social Planning, was also in attendance.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the ethical charter of social work.
The workshop also included numerous scholarly discussions among the students.
Dr. Waleed Mohamed Awni, Lecturer in the Department of Social Planning, and Mr. Mahmoud Ehab, Director of the Dean’s Office, participated in coordinating the workshop.
