Today, the activities of the 1st annual scientific forum for groupwork department under the name of ”The Professional Career of the Group Work in the Era of Digitalizing Social Welfare Services”
The conference was held in the attendance of Prof. Loay Saad Eddin Nusrat-Vice-University President of Education and Student Affairs and the Supervisor of the Faculty, Prof.Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mahal-Vice-University President of Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Ali Abbas Dandrawi-Professor of Social Work Fields and Former Vice-University President of Group Work and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof.Emad Thrwat Sharqawy -Dean of Aswan Higher Institution of Social Work, Prof. Hanaa Aref Ahmed – Professor and Head of Group Work Department “Reporter of the Forum”, and Prof. Muhammad Sayed Abbas – Professor of Group Work Department and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs “Secretary of the Forum”, and Prof. Hamdi Al-Sayed Assi – Assistant Professor of Group Work Department , Dr. Ayman Ahmed Essam – A Lecturer of the Group Work Department, Dr. Adel Khalaf Hassan -A Lecturer of the Group Work Department, Dr. Aya Adly – An Assistant Lecturer of the Group Work Department, and Dr. Shazly Abu Al-Hajjaj Taye – An Assistant Lecturer in the Group Work Department, and Dr. Azza Al-Sayed – Assistant Lecturer, Department of Group Work Department, and Ms. Warda Al-Senussi – Demonstrator of Group Work Department Department.
The department’s achievements from 2021 to 2023 were presented through the forum, after which the former deans of the faculty (Prof. Abdul Rahim Tammam Abu Kreisha, Prof. Ali Abbas Dandrawi, and Prof. Mohammed Najdi Sayed) were honored, and the ceremonies of the department’s scientific sessions through two sessions began, with the first session’s axis being ”The professional practice of group work in light of contemporary informational digitalization.”
-Artificial Intelligence as a method for improving social welfare services for people with exceptional needs”
-The role of digitalization in advancing professional practice in social welfare institutions that were presented by Dr. Al-Shazly Abu Al-Hajjaj, and the researcher/ Mustafa Mohamed Abdel-Fattah – second batch pre-doctoral, and researcher/ Ahmed Sultan Abdel-Zaher – second batch pre-doctoral.
-The role of smart cities in improving undergraduate life from the perspective of working with groups, that were presented by Dr.Aya Adli, and Dr. Warda Sanusi.
-Artificial Intelligence as a technique for improving social welfare services for the elderly”, which was presented by Dr. Yaman Sabri Ahmed – fourth year, and student / Omaima Faraj Muhammad – fourth year.
At the end of the forum, the organizational committee was honored, then submitted the recommendations of the forum.
